About Frank

I believe my passion for coaching and genuine joy I get out of seeing clients succeed is what stands out and is my cornerstone! This passion has always been in me but was forged in the fire when I served as a Certified Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach. Doing that line of work and partnering with my former clients is what helped me cultivated that fire. I love seeing who I work with develop a game plan, succeed at that game plan by achieve goals, seeing growth and ultimately gain ownership and confidence over the hard work they did on their own with this little bug in their ear pushing them. I love equipment other with knowledge, tools and technique so they can truly have no need for me after a while and can walk into their spaces with ownership and confidence over who they are and what they do!

Again, I thoroughly enjoy setting clients up for success through equipping them with knowledge, technique and ownership. I love seeing growth and confidence in them realizing that they can do this and they have who they uniquely are to fuel that growth and confidence!

I got started teaching through inspiration, curiosity and passion! Acting is something I am passionate about and I absolutely love sharing resources, tools and technique with others so we all can win and be armed with knowledge! I started off teaching/coaching friends with auditions which morphed into a love for it that led to me teaching for a semester for a school and now looking to take it to the net level! And this seed was planted 12 years ago when I met one of my college professors and experience someone who loves coaching in him!

I have my BA in Thetare Perfomance from The University of Missouri-Kansas City. I have a culmination of 12 years of experience in acting (6 years in professional and academic theatre, 2+ years in independent film, and 3 years and counting in network television/streaming and studio film). I also have experience teaching acting curriculum (theatre) in a classroom setting. I have 4 years of content creation as well as editing that content, creating graphics for that content and promoting/producing that content. Lastly, I have experince in acting coaching for auditions (theatre, self-tapes and in-person), text analysis/breakdown, charcater development, circumstance work and other foundatinal acting work to create a full character!

About the lesson

I start with a career consultation! In that consultation we work together to learn what your goals are (short and long term), as well as what are your passions as it pertains to the craft and the industry. From there we then develop an attainable and manageable game plan that will help you reach your goals with the intention of being a whole and independent artist that has ownership over themselves and their craft!

I primarily work with young adults - adults (ages 18+) who are serious about their craft and dedicated to doing the work.

The advice I'd give a student looking to hire a teacher is to always research them. Look them up and really see what they're about, their resumes and their work. You won't be able to get a full feel for them as an instructor and their style of teaching until you're working with them, if you so choose, but you can at the very least get a feel for them as an artist, as a person and what they are passionate about by doing some fundamental research!

Although not a "large" event, but I recently participated in a panel with other actors. In this panel, as panelists, we shared our experiences of what it's like to work in live in our perspective market (ATL, CHI, LA & NYC), and it was such an amazing feeling to be able to share knowledge and experiences with attendees! Equipping them with some foundational advice when looking to relocate to another market to continue pursuing this wonderful craft!
