About Zane

Welcome to the first step in discovering your true potential as an actor! Regardless of age or experience, we will work together to develop a customized approach to maximizing your potential.

With the belief that every actor has an individualized set of skills, I will alter my teaching pedagogy to meet your needs.

Are you brand new starting out? No problem, we will get straight to work on understanding the basics of both stage and film work.

Have an audition coming up and want to work it or even tape it? We have you taken care of.

Are you wanting to take some lessons to work on a specific character or monologue? You came to the right place.

Wherever you are at in your career, it's a great time to keep moving forward!

I love creativity, the use of language, and storytelling. As actors, all we are given are words on a page. I revel in collaborating with artists (regardless of age or experience... seriously) in creating something together. My absolute favorite moment that occurs over and over again as a teacher is witnessing a student achieve goals they were not aware they could have previously; and then encouraging them to keep going.

Began teaching in undergrad and fell into more opportunities over and over again in various regions.

About the lesson

Changes based on the individual needs and goals of the student.

I always create a 3 to 5 week plan of action regardless of age or experience.

Ages 5 to adult

Go with your gut. Find an instructor you trust and have a good vibe with. You must have the freedom to fail in our field.

Anytime I see students grow in a way that surprises them.

I worked with Zane and he was great! We worked on a film scene. He helped me discover different aspects of the character which helped in the scene. He also was good at helping me think about how film is different from theatre within the scene.

Another thing I appreciated was he didn't just give me line readings he helped me dig deeper to find what worked as the character by analyzing the text. I would definitely recommend Zane/Intuition Acting Studio to anyone wanting help with any type of acting.
