About Spitfire
Spitfire Comedy House is St. Pete’s downtown comedy club, featuring live and online comedy shows every weekend. Located on 1st Ave S near Tropicana Field, Spitfire also houses one of the top comedy schools in the country. Visit spitfirecomedy.com
Spitfire improv instructors are some of the most well-rounded comedy actors in the business. Collectively, our 6 instructors have trained with at iO Chicago, UCB New York, The Magnet Theater, The Second City, The Annoyance & Austin's Hideout Theater.
They've worked with improv legends like Charna Halper, TJ & Dave, Joe Bill, Susan Messing, Mark Sutton, Dave Razowski, Kevin Mullaney, and many more.
Spitfire's improv training put the focus on unveiling the most obvious, truthful moments on stage by using clear communication, simple ideas, and personalized choices that brings what's funny into focus.

Students sign up online or at the door and are welcomed into class with a few excercises that help loosen everyone up!
Students can sign up for 4 weeks at a time and save $5 a session. Once their ready, our Foundations students are able to sign up for Advanced class and given a chance to get on stage in our Saturday night Whose Line St Pete show!
Students interested in doing professional improvisation at Spitfire are eligible to sign up for Performance Lab, where we teach advanced forms, narrative and theatrical improvisation to prep casting for paid mainstage shows.

Spitfire is open to all interested in improvisation, comedy, theater or entertainment more genrally, no matter their background or experience.

Details
Students can sign up for a single day or 4 weeks at a time. Ongoing students save $5 a session.
Improv Foundations (1 hr): $25/$20 ongoing
Improv Advanced (2 hrs): $20/$15 ongoing
Performance Lab (1.5 hrs): $15/$10 ongoing
