About Michael

The Karmic Margin Call Project offers free educational services for the purposes of establishing of a publicly-owned Service Market. We seek to attract teachers, artists, entrepreneurs, and independent services providers to collaborate within in a new economy. A Service Market Economy implements the practice of Reverse Market Mechanics to synergize all efforts.

Reverse Market Mechanics uses a simple equation to redirect banking resources and capital. The effort synergizes the efforts of independent service providers to raise the value of human resources while systematically deflating the value of exploited material resources. This creates an opportunity to chargeback the compounded interest on global banking, offering the service provider direct access to previously inaccessible global financial reserves.

I'll include a recent biography from an online platform where I teach kids ages 10-18:

I teach classes dedicated to developing creativity, emotional understanding, and building meaningful relationships through inclusive conversation. I have taught drama for 20 years though organizations such as Totem Pole Playhouse, Steel River Playhouse, Stage Coach Schools, and the Academy of Cinema and Television. Recently my creativity workshops have been featured at Brown University and I've spoken at Ursinus College. Starting in 2017, I have developed an initiative called the Karmic Margin Call Project intended to unite teachers, artists, and entrepreneurs to create a publicly-owned Service Market for the purposes of creating economic equality through education. I have 25 experience as a teacher, life coach, and trainer.

My philosophy, especially in this age of information and technology, is that the destiny of theater and drama is to help the individual develop authentic expression, deeper listening skills, and establish the communication competencies necessary to "write your own story" in these tumultuous times. This is why I have developed experiential workshop-classes around the idea of the "21st Century Hero's Journey". Personal power is cultivated through the art of compassion and vivid story-telling. I draw inspiration from the mythological stories of the past as well as the stories which make up popular culture today.

My Workshop-Class explores creativity through the Four Elements:

Fire: The ability to brainstorm and conceive an idea.
Air: The ability to allow your inner-critic to work for you rather than against you.
Water: The ability to understand a full range of emotions and reliably tap into these emotional resources.
Earth: The ability to manage your habits resulting in using time and space to achieve tangible, achievable goals.

I live near Philadelphia with my wife Laura, an art therapist, and my almost-two-year-old son, Micah Orion. I'm also currently directing a touring play called "The Wizard of Iz" which addresses the topics of suicide and bullying. I am also an amateur film maker and have a passion for sketch and improv comedy.

About the lesson

I'm an acting teacher and life coach, so I facilitate improvisational acting techniques to inspire meaningful conversation. A student must be willing to play!
