About Sophia

I have more than 10 years of acting experience in TV, film and theatre. I work with method technique as well as concentrating on removing the blocks that could stop the actor from living the character to the fullest. I go deep into the process of becoming to ensure the actor has the necessary tools to make an outstanding performance.

I love actors. I admire the will and stamina to embark on this journey. Actors make as feel, they inspire us, they move us. Every actor should reach the point of mastery in his/her craft. I enjoy helping the actor to reach that mastery. This is an honor.

I was told I have to teach for a long time. I figured it's important to give back to the community. Acting is my very best expertise and something I am very passionate about so I decided to share it with other actors.

About the lesson

I get familiar with the students backgroud and we go straight to working on a character. I believe that it is the best approach to jump into the deep water and learn how to swim. I will provide all the tools and knowledge. All I require is the student to be ready and open for me.

I worked with different kinds of students, from age 5 to 65. Most of them where actors but some of them were people who wanted to work on being more open in their life and career. I except anyone who needs help growing as a person.

Listen to your heart.

I was moved by Rami Malek's (Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody) story. He was delivering pizza for many years in LA attaching his headshot on the back of every pizza box, after few years he got a call..

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would say that all they need to do is to be open and ready for the process. It's not about analyzing so much as about being open.
