About Mikhail

I believe that an actor's work is never finished. There is always more that you can do, but practically speaking, where are your resources best spent? We're all taught that we need to be making content, taking new headshots, self-submitting, emailing agents and casting... But, what about PRACTICE?

My philosephy is based around a singular idea:

Acting and auditioning are perishable skills, and therefore must be practiced EVERY DAY.

I have BFA in acting from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory Music. I am always personally taking an on-going acting class, and I have a laundry list of IMDB credits. If you want, you can see them here:

I'm member of both SAG-AFTRA and Actor's Equity, and am currently on an Equity TYA tour with Laguna Playhouse.

I LOVE teaching acting because I AM a working actor. I've spent the last 4 years making a living exclusively from acting, and it brings me incredible joy to help others do the same or better--because your success is MY success. It's a hard business out there, and we gotta stick together.

Believe it or not, I enjoy acting and teaching so much that I am always enrolled (and paying to be) in someone's class. The journey never ends, and what an incredible gift that can be!

About the lesson

Whether you're new to the business or a seasoned veteran looking to brush up for an audition, you're gonna get up and WORK in your very first session. This works best if you can provide material for an audition or a project or a new monologue that you're currently working on. But, if you're at a loss as to where to begin, DON'T WORRY. Just let me know in advance and I will dig up something appropriate for you--probably from something that is casting RIGHT NOW.
