About Kevin

Author of the book, Conquering the Film and Television Audition, I have been acting professionally for over forty years with extensive film and television credits. I have been teaching acting and coaching auditions for actors for fifteen years and wrote the most comprehensive book on film and television auditioning available today. I love helping students open up their creativity and expand their acting skills beyond what they themselves thought was possible

I began working with friends on their auditions and when they started booking jobs, realized coaching and teaching was something I could do quite well.

I have been acting professionally since I was a child and have taught at the Alan Feinstein Studio for the past six years. I wrote Conquering the Film and Television Audition, published in 2016 and available online and any book outlet and in Barnes and Noble, Studio City.

About the lesson

I read with the student to evaluate his or her current ability and then discuss a plan to add to their strengths and build up their weaknesses.

All types from beginners to currently working actors at the series regular level down to featured players.

Does the teacher speak to you in a manner that you can understand?

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Define as clearly as you can your goals. Do you want to merely improve generally or do you have a specific goal, such as getting an agent or really up the caliber of your audition.

Really got a tremendous amount of great training. Mr. Allen helped me control my audition nerves and understand what I really needed to do to nail a recent TV audition. Best coach I've found in Los Angeles.

I've read every book about auditioning out there and this is the only one that goes into specific detail about the difference between film and TV, every genre and every size role. It made a huge difference in my very first audition after reading...I booked!
