About Bryan

I love teaching acting! I've been on stage/tv/film and have my MFA from UCLA in acting. I have studied a variety of techniques and can evaluate a scene very quickly and offer a nurturing approach to help an actor give his or her best performance. I've taught at a variety of acting schools before opening my own. I've also taught at UCLA. My profile is up on IMDB as well as my website: (concealed information)

I love teaching on ZOOM right now because I can share videos quickly -- I have actors send me their self-tapes *I provide the scripts/sides. We watch them in real time and then work on the scenes on Zoom and then sometimes watch the original scene. I teach acting technique -- tv/film technique simultaneously. And the students improve almost immediately. I love getting results and working with students who want to improve!

I started teaching kids at Young Performer's Studio around 2001 or so. I've taught for LAUSD and then started working with adults teaching at UCLA and privately.

I have an MFA from UCLA in acting. I've also studied privately with everyone from Bobby Lewis (Co-founder of the original Actor's Studio); Terry Schreiber (Ed Norton's teacher); Mel Shapiro (Founder of Carnegie Mellon Acting Program); Garth Campbell and Marilyn Fox (Pacific Resident Theatre); Yvegeny Lanskoy (Stella Adler School); I have a long list of private teachers...

About the lesson

Typically I'll schedule a 30 minute Zoom session to go over an actor's goals for the class and also for their career. This is usually done after they've already determined they want to study with me.

All types -- all levels -- all ages

Hire someone who is not only a great teacher but has the professional experience of being a working actor -- like myself.

I taught an amazing ZOOM class this evening and everyone did a wonderful job. It's a great format for teaching Tv/Film acting.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The best advice I ever received was the quote from Bruce Lee -- "Be like water my friend." Life does not always come the way you expect it -- be maleable and flow like water.

Details

At the moment I'm offering (4) week Zoom sessions for $200. It's a small class 6-8 students. Three hour class -- evenings and weekends. I also coach privately $45/half hour or $80/hour
