About Dina
I am a working actress about to start a contract in NYC. At this point in my career, I know what I'm doing and I'm ready to share that passion and knowledge with my students.
I'm madly in love with the artform of acting and always have been. I love being able to work with students and bring out their inner strength and confidence. Acting is all about the art of play and I firmly believe that working from a play of joy unlocks tons of amazing parts of oneself they never knew existed!
I started teaching many years ago when I was looking for some supplemental income while I was acting! I've been fortunate enough to coach one on one as well as work in classroom settings. I fell in love with helping my students discover their passion and become more confident to work from that place!

My approach to working with any student is to embrace the idea of PLAY! Acting is a beautiful way to discover who you are, become more confident and to exist in joy and play! I try to engage each student with specific exercises that will work towards the goals they are setting forth. I find throught the joy of play, there's not exercise too silly, no idea not worth trying...I operate from a place of YES!
I have worked with students ranging in age from 3 years old to adult. I taught an Undergraduate Acting class while I was pursuing my Masters, as well as teaching high school students in a specialized summer program designed for serious actors. I have taught toddlers, taught young kids, young adults and plenty of grown ups as well! Doesn't matter the age, the fundamentals are the same.
I would say that you should find someone whose passion speaks to you. Find someone who makes you excited to get to work and discover lots of new things about yourself. Look for someone with experience, obviously, but also, especially when it comes to acting, it's about how comfortable you feel with that person and that's what is most important.
