There's nothing like this class. If I had known about it twenty years ago, it would have made the difference for me when I made that decision then to stop pursuing my dream of acting. I've been taking this workshop for three and a half years now. Clu is an amazing teacher. He is attentive with each student, giving generously of his time to examine the student's choices. With his keen intuition and incredible understanding of psyche, he is able to help the student discover appropriate characteristics, moods and behaviors for a certain character. No matter how prepared I think I am before class, Clu always helps me to find additional texture for my character which lends to a more enhanced performance. While viewing the day's scenes, which are nicely covered and beautifully shot by John Gulager, Clu's invaluable coaching continues and is complimented by the insightful observations and useful advice of his assistant coach, Diane Goldner.
