About Clayton

Greetings, fellow thespians 🎭

My program focuses you on getting out of your box, and showing you there's more to the industry than just your acting.

You will learn: how to read beyond the script; how to break out of your shell; how taking a minor role may help you steal the show.

I have worked 5 years in the industry and have amassed a wealth of connections beyond filmmakers. I teach you that movies are more than just powerful performances. I tell you the truth of what it takes to break into the industry and what kind of mindset you must develop in order to have a successful career.

I was helping out an actress who needed help with everything in her career: developing her reel, getting headshots, crafting her resume. I had informed her about doing basic things like working on her social media, being able to develop a timeline for her career, and building her network. Today, she is working toward being a film and television star, and has the drive to be successful in moving her career forward.

I have 24 years acting experience. I have taken a Shakespeare class to help me better breakdown verse and prose. I have studied Stella Adler and classes that teach truth in performance. I have done mime techniques, interpretation, song and dance performance, and have worked on 80+ film projects in various fields including acting, directing, producing, writing, sound, gaffing, lighting, etc. I have a Bachelors degree in screenwriting and directing.

About the lesson

I start them out with material. Very basic. I assign them to write their own material. Then I take it a step further to help them come up with their own concepts for work. I anticipate their truth and I break them out of their shell. Since everyone has a phone, I show them you don't need fancy equipment to get something done. You just need a drive.

I have worked with foreign students, film students, musicians, poets, comedians, first year actors, veteran actors, magicians, silent film directors, and filmmakers alike, many of which I also collaborate in this industry with.

Give it all you've got. Don't be disheartened by hearing the word no; and don't ever give up. The reason so many actors fall out of this industry is just when they think they are on the breaking point of success they let themselves get in the way. You can be anything you want; and this is an industry where dreams come true. I'm living proof.

I was at the AIS awards, which is like the oscars for next level filmmaking. A very prestigious producer invited us for a VIP experience to see the award ceremony with the likes of famous film directors, famous actors, and soaial media personalities. The producer has kept a secret from us that night; that he knew Tom Cruise was going to show up to the event. Needless to say Tom did show up as he accepted two awards from the ceremony. The first was the Harold Lloyd award for bravery in stunt performance. The second was for Best Action film for his work on Mission: Impossible Fallout. Truly an honor to meet him that night. I'll never forget it.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Understand that when you are going through this program, your homework assignments will directly impact how you discover your voice. My greatest lesson in everything I teach you is how to find YOUR voice.
Also understand that I cannot do the work for you. You have to put the work in. Ultimately it is your career. What you do with it is entirely up to you; but I will tell you that you will be the wiser for taking it.

Details

Beginning acting lessons: $20/week for a 10-week course. Once a week. Recommended for actors starting out less than 1 year of experience.

Intermediate performance: $30/week for a 5 week course. This teaches you how to be comfortable with other actors, as well as in front of the camera. Recommended for actors with 1-3 years experience.

Advanced performance: $50/week for a 5-week course. I show you strategic thinking about how to take your film career to the next level, and show how to stand out to be a breakout star. WARNING: the course is extremely intensive! Do not go in lightly. Recommended for 3+ years.

I work only with adults 18+. If you are legal 18, I must see your SAG paperwork to verify.
