About Atalanta
Professional actor with over 15 years experience in the industry, both theatre and film. Uses a variety of exercises to explore, delve, develop and polish what YOU are interested in exploring in your work. Currently teaching Acting at the University of Georgia while pursuing my MFA in Acting and developing their youth film programs. Was an actor, comedian, and production specialist in NYC for 4 years, and and educator and performer in regional theater for three years. Certified in mutliple weapons forms through Society of American Fight Directors. Specializing in youth education, Shakespeare, new work development, and film.
When that moment of discovery clicks for the student and something new is found.
Working with high school students in public schools as part of a non-competitive Shakespeare program. From there, I began doing educational theater tours and became to Co-director of Education for another regional Shakespeare company. Now, I mentor and work with young artists in the New York City, from high school age to young professionals.
15 years experience working in the industry. Special training in stage combat, movement, voice, clown and education.

Acting is not about getting to be "someone else" for a few hours, true acting is where we reveal more of ourselves thru the characters. Find a teacher that understands YOU as an artist and helps you showcase that.
