About Lisa

I have not only been involved in and sought after in the performing arts community for over 30 years, but I am also an English teacher.

I teach the curriculum I practiced in New York City: vocal training ( speaking and singing), movement for actors ( for those who are not trained in dance but need to keep up in a dance audition) script interpretation, the Meisner acting technique, theatre etiquette

I get to meet students where they are in the sense that, regardless of training or lack thereof, we can both explore how to achieve the very best of what the student possesses. I love to see the pride and self confidence my students exhibit when they've hit "the sweet spot" in whatever particular area they wanted to improve upon or prepare for.

I have a Bachelor's degree in performing arts from William Woods University. The school's requirement for theatre students was to spend an intensive semester in New York City. I was happy to fill this requirement and participated in a wide range of theatre categories with some of the best coaches and directors in the business.
I have been a professional actor for 4 years (member of Actors Equity Association ) and have branched out into film and television
