About Katie
Katie self-studied for both the SAT and LSAT, and recognizes the importance of thorough test prep. She recently received her BA in History and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and will be starting at Yale Law School in the fall. While studying for the SAT and LSAT, she developed beneficial test prep strategies that helped her surpass her goals, and mentor other students. As part of a university tutoring program, she provided supplemental tutoring for students in an ACT prep course, and regularly tutored high school students in math, writing, and Spanish. She served on the leadership team of the program, and helped coordinate other university initiatives aimed at helping students get to college and beyond. Through all of these experiences, she has grown in her enthusiasm for tutoring students and helping them reach their goals!
As a tutor throughout college, Katie loved watching students grow not only in their academic abilities but also their confidence as they tackled difficult subjects. Especially with standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, and LSAT, entering the exam room with confidence can make a huge difference!
