About Alexandra
I'm a college student at Johns Hopkins University. I'm excited to offer test prep tutoring, along with tutoring for high school classes and select introductory college courses.
My primary focus is test prep. I scored 1480 on the SAT and 35 on the ACT, and I took both exams as recently as 2020. This recent experience puts me in a unique position to be able to prepare students for the most updated formats of the exams.
I can offer in person tutoring over the summer and throughout this December and January. Throughout the rest of the year, I only offer virtual tutoring.
I have a couple years of unpaid experience tutoring my siblings, cousins, and their friends. I love helping them improve their test scores and understanding of a wide range of subjects.
I'm looking forward to expanding my impact and helping students achieve their goals and increase their chances of getting into their dream schools!
I have completed my first year of college at Johns Hopkins University and am continuing to pursue my bachelors degree. I'm studying biomedical engineering, so I am very strong in STEM subjects, but can help with English and writing as well.
I took both the SAT and ACT multiple times, and I scored well on both (1480 & 35, respectively). I use my own experience, as well as resources like Khan academy and test prep books, to help prepare students for the exams.
