About Xue
Hello! I'm Derny, and I come from China. Nice to meet you here. I am passionate about teaching Chinese and helping students embark on an exciting journey of Chinese language.
I'm a graduate of Southwest University of Science and Technology. My journey led me through teaching English in domestic kindergartens, where my outgoing and conscientious teaching style garnered the admiration of both students and peers. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience teaching Chinese to young learners, especially in the vibrant environment of kindergartens.

During my eaching, I have honed my skills in utilizing innovative teaching methods to make the learning process engaging and effective. One of the techniques I employ is Total Physical Response (TPR), which leverages students' kinesthetic abilities to enhance language retention. Through actions and gestures, I create a dynamic and interactive classroom where students can associate words and phrases with physical movements, making learning not only educational but also fun.
In addition to TPR, I strongly believe in the power of immersive teaching. I create an environment where Chinese is not just a subject but a language that surrounds students both inside and outside the classroom. Through storytelling, role-playing, and real-life scenarios, I encourage students to use Chinese in authentic contexts, allowing them to grasp the language naturally and confidently.
