About Lorraine
I have taught in two of the top academically achieving schools in Dublin where over half of my students have obtained the top result in the subjects I have taught them. I am a passionate educator who desires to obtain the maximum potential from my students, and I will work tirelessly to ensure that they understand the material being covered. Classes are targeted towards the examination going through sample questions and marking schemes while building a solid foundation of knowledge to ensure student ability to adapt what they have learned to answer questions they encounter.
For Ag Science tailored help towards achieving top marks in the IIS is also provided as well as exemplars of what is expected in the varying sections of the report.

My teaching style is active, the student is fully immersed and is encouraged to ask questions for further explanations. I will tailor lessons directly to the student's individual needs. Lessons will ensure that the student has an understanding of the topic before moving on to how to approach the answering of examination-style questions. The typical length of a lesson is one hour, and I have twelve years of experience giving tutoring in all science subjects. I can suit both higher and ordinary levels.
