Experienced teacher and lecturer with bachelor and PhD in History, able to teach Humanities and Portuguese.

I first met Dr. Elaine Farrell through the study group she co-founded, and later had the pleasure of inviting her to serve on my Master's dissertation committee. She is a kind, dedicated, and welcoming person, always willing to share her knowledge, support others, and engage in thoughtful discussions. Her dedication and approachable nature make her a wonderful person to learn from. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated teacher.

I have known Dr. Elaine Farrell since the beginning of her career. Throughout this time, we have shared highly enriching teaching experiences. Dr. E. Farrell has always shown herself to be extremely diligent, kind, and possessed of an admirable sense of teamwork. During her classes, I was able to observe the enthusiasm with which the students participated in the activities—whether through the explanations provided regarding the topics at hand, or through the resources (maps, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) she used to clarify various perspectives. For all these reasons, I highly recommend Dr. E. Farrell to other Superprof members. Ph.D. Marcos Caldas - Full time Professor at the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro

I have known Elaine for over nine years, and one thing I have always admired about her is her genuine passion for history, particularly the medieval period.
She has a wonderful ability to bring history to life. A simple walk with Elaine can easily turn into a fascinating and enjoyable conversation about Ireland's history, its symbols, traditions and the stories that still remain visible all around us.
Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she makes you curious to learn more. She doesn't just share historical facts, she brings the past into the present in a way that is engaging, interesting and easy to understand.
I would highly recommend Elaine to anyone who wants to discover history in an enjoyable and inspiring way. She is truly passionate about what she teaches!
