About Malea
Wife, mother of 2, certified teacher, tutor, mentor, entrepreneur...
My appreciation for language and culture began at the age of 9, when I first learned French. After more French classes in high school, I transitioned to Spanish in 11th grade. I became fluent in Spanish within 2 years and never looked back, I found my passion! I am grateful for my life journey which led me to Miami, where on any given day you could meet people from all over the world. This inspired me to start my own business to break cultural and language barriers in my hometown. I am a Columbus native with a passion for helping those in my community learn Spanish. Monarca represents the Monarch butterfly, who never imagined that after leaving the cocoon it would have wings to fly. That’s what it feels like to learn a new language.
