About Riz

- The reason I teach is that I feel like I am good at conveying my thoughts to other people. I feel like it's a gift I should be sharing with other people and it gives me immense satisfaction - I have a bachelor's and a master's degree in Computer science - I am working as a Software Application Developer at a university in Edinburgh. I also teach (part-time) web development bootcamps at the University of Birmingham and have been doing it for 2 years now

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach: My teaching approach is hands-on using live coding and making maximum use of online resources such as leetcode, hackerrank, codewars, etc. Keeping in mind that superprof is a place for 1-on-1 teaching, I make sure that the student is comfortable and able to have discussions about concepts and their real-world examples so that you can develop your own unique skill of solving problems My lesson structure: To get the maximum output from a lesson, I try and keep the sessions short (less than 2 hours). I hate to overwhelm students with too much information. Taking things slowly one at a time is the best way to learn for a student Following are the languages/technologies/subjects I am familiar with: - Java - C# - JavaScript - SQL - React - MongoDB - Web services - Algorithms - Data structures and some more that I can't remember while writing this ad
