About David

After over 20 years as a secondary English teacher, head of department and assistant head teacher, I have extensive experience of different syllabi and examination boards. I am an examiner at GCSE for English and have experience of examining at GCSE and A level for English Literature. I have over 5 years experience as a private tutor and have worked with students of all abilities helping them to reach their goals in GCSE and A level examinations.

About the lesson

Perfect! David is undeniably a leader in his field both academically and psychologically.
My Daughter went from failing and looking at repeating year 11 to middle of the class and passing with David's expertise. Within a short time David had her looking forward to and enjoying her lessons instead of procrastinating, making excuses and getting very depressed with her situation. He is beyond patient and focused (even went as far as to liaise with her teacher) he not only helped her with her studies but there is a clear improvement in her self esteem and resilience! My recommendation for David doesn't come highly enough he is one of the best decisions I have made and we will continue to use his wide range of skills to keep her on track during year 12.
