I am am experienced primary school teacher that has taught in KS1 and KS2. I am in my 6th year of my teaching career and I am a Primary School Leader that leads the Humanities, PSHE, Music and Communities curriculum.
I have taught specifically in years 1, 2, 3 and 4. I am currently a year 3 teacher that has transitioned children from KS1 to KS2.
I have taught from the old and new curriculum in a range of subjects and I have a proven record to push low attaining children to becoming high attaining using a range of teaching strategies.
I am friendly, patient and have fantastic listening abilities which I feel are important in teaching children and listening to their problems. I am experienced in understanding what children find difficult in their learning.
English and Maths are my passion. In English, I teach children a range of grammar skills that will push their children's writing and teach them how to write a creative piece of writing from a range of genres. In Maths, I can teach a range of strategies that is in line with the national curriculum.
