About Katie
I am a primary school teacher currently teaching in Year 4. I have a Primary Education degree from Leeds Beckett University. I have had lots of experience working with children and know how to adapt lessons to suit an individual or small group. I have an acute understanding of the National Curriculum and will be able to base my tutoring sessions around end of year expectations.

My approach to teaching is to ensure my students are comfortable in my classes. All questions are valuable and discussion about topics is strongly encouraged. Children can often feel very anxious about subjects they find challenging, so in my lessons I hope to incorporate fun too.
