About Stuart
I am not your usual stuffy Physics professor (no crazy hair) but I do have an excellent track record helping students to feel positive about themselves and improve their attitude to studying Physics. Its all about the basics. I always take the time to build confidence and open discussion around each topic. When the theory is better grasped we move on to simple worked examples and finally examination level questions. Interspersed will be interactive experiments and videos to add context and liven things up. I have an interesting background in music, engineering and the semiconductor industry that I also bring to the table. Plus I love the cosmos and countless other areas of Physics so its not all equations and calculus! I am as comfortable with 4th year Uni students as I am with an early years High School student. In addition I have worked abroad, in private and public schools and relish teaching Physics to international students (particularly IGCSE).
