I can warmly recommend Gustavo as a tutor. I've used Gustavo for help with my math course at the university a few months ago. It wasn't through this platform, but it was online, using Teams. I got the recommendation from a friend, to whom Gustavo had greatly helped with math.I have to say he was very engaged and helped me get a good grade in a course I thought I was going to fail.His teaching was very effective and motivating. He was able to simplify complex problems I had difficulty understanding in an approachable manner. He also motivated me when I was ready to give up. Gustavo was able to adapt his teaching to my learning style by using more real-life problems and examples to help me wrap my head around the mathematical concepts. He even managed to make me like math (sort of).I had another tutor in the past, but Gustavo was way better, managing to adapt to my pace. He helped me understand the math, not just memorize equations that would seem all the same and make it difficult to apply the right one during the test (unlike my previous tutor). What was nice is that if he saw and verified I understood a certain topic, he would adjust the tutoring material and start a new topic without wasting time on teaching things I didn't actually need help with.He genuinely seemed to care about teaching and my success.
