About Fatima
I'm an experienced teacher currently teaching in an inner London school with 19 years of full-time teaching experience looking forward to offer online lessons to support students who missed school and teacher's attention and support due to Lockdown. I'm sure this extra support arranged by parents will boost the children's confidence in their knowledge and understanding and prepare them with ongoing vitality for a head start in Sept hopefully.

I teach across all Key stages KS3, KS4 and KS5 including BTEC Applied Science. I'm the Lead Internal Verifier for the course at my centre. I teach all three sciences to KS3 and KS4 and Biology and Chemistry to A-Level and BTEC (L3) course. My lessons are focused on the exam board lesson outcomes. I use different strategies and styles to assess plan, teach and assess students' progress right from recall of knowledge, facts and concepts to application, analyse and evaluating skills. I make sure students improve their writing skills on extended responses to structure answers in a logical sequence and use of key technical terms. Understanding of exam practice questions is the key to success which most students need help and confidence to deal with to improve their attainment. I make sure students gain knowledge and understanding of the core required practicals which is 25% of the exam total. I have experience of teaching students of all abilities and have a bank of resources for combined and triple science. I also have experience of teaching all exam boards due to previous employment record as I have taught in many different schools across London in the last 19 years. I am an examiner for Edexcel GCSE and OCR A Level Biology.
