About Daniel
I am an experienced and enthusiastic tutor of French and philosophy.
I have recently finished a PhD in political philosophy (passed with no corrections) at UCL and have spent time living in France and developed a love for the country and the language.
Before the PhD, I studied for an MPhil in philosophy also at UCL, and for a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford.
I spent some time living in Marseille, France teaching English to teenagers (in the French state school system, as well as in private tuition) and it is thanks to this that I developed an interest in tutoring French. I speak fluent French.
I have extensive teaching experience in various forms (detailed below). This includes experience of private tuition, of French and English as well as philosophy, and also of teaching state secondary school classes, and university seminars. Working together with students to reach some learning goal is something I enjoy, and I seek to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience.
