About Eliza

I have been teaching adults online since May 2020 (I have professional certifications as an ESL teacher) and before that I taught a variety of subjects in a community college in the US. I have worked with refugees and immigrants in both Canada and Europe. I love helping people be successful and having mastery of the language is a huge step forward. I am patient and kind because I know how frightening and uncomfortable it can be. I will do everything I can to help you succeed.

About the lesson

I use humor, interesting news articles, and real life conversation.
We will work on building your confidence so you can express yourself.
Language requires 4 skills: speaking, listening, writing, reading.
We will do activities that engage all 4 of these skills so you can learn quickly and efficiently.
Most important of all - we will have fun and you will learn and gain confidence.

Eliza is a very very responsible teacher I have met. You can chat with her like a friend and share your life with each other. During the chat, she will help you correct incorrect expressions. At the same time, she will help you extend the topic and teach you more about the knowledge you are interested in. I learned not only the language but also different cultures from her. Every class, I don't want to end the class, It's amazing experience to learn english. After the course, she will be happy to reply to your email to answer your questions. I really recommend her to you, If you want to learn English with a native speaker.
