About Lloyd
I am a passionate and patient tutor with eight months of previous Mathematics tutoring experience at Master Maths. I have always enjoyed helping others understand concepts that they may initially find challenging, and I believe that every student has the ability to improve with the right guidance and support.
I achieved a distinction in Mathematics in Matric and 78% for CAT, and I am comfortable providing CAT support in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. I enjoy working with students, adapting to their individual needs, and creating a relaxed environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning.
My goal as a tutor is not simply to help students get through their next test, but to help them develop greater confidence and a stronger understanding of the work.

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, learning pace, and current level of understanding. I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind mathematical concepts rather than simply memorising formulae or methods. We will identify areas that need improvement, work through concepts step by step, and practise applying them to different types of questions.
I also offer CAT support, with a particular focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. I can help students understand practical tasks, work through exercises, and prepare for assessments.
Whether you are looking to strengthen your foundations, improve your confidence, keep up with your schoolwork, or prepare for tests and exams, I aim to create a patient and supportive environment where you can ask questions and learn at your own pace.
