About Joanna
I'm a second-year PhD student in the field of mathematical analysis at Concordia University, Montreal. I've always been fascinated by how mathematics can capture the beauty of nature and our world, and that's exactly why I pursued it, why I wanted to delve deeper into the intricacies of our mathematical world. And now, after years of being in this field, it just got more vast and mysterious and I'm now expanding into other fields like physics and philosophy. Don't worry, I won't steer away from your topic (unless you want me to!) but I will try to make it less dull.

The sentence I hear most from people is :" I've never been good at math" . Somehow I never believe this to be true. Mathematics is a language, and like any other language you have to try to speak it and engage with it. My approach to teaching math is a very intuitive approach, there's no fixed way to teach something, but the common factor for all the paths to understanding mathematical concepts is being able to visualize, imagine, or if both are not possible then just to feel and intuit.
