About Katarzyna

I can speak two languages fluently- English and Polish. I have a BA Hons in Linguistics (1:1 awarded) and I have been a tutor for over 5 years, teaching mostly online. I provide English and Polish language lessons to people of all nationalities.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is to make you feel relaxed and enjoy the lessons. I always try to keep it engaging and relevant for you.
I provide two types of lessons:

1. Structured lessons - during this type of lessons we do a variety of exercises- from grammar to vocabulary to listening and writing. I provide you with relevant material beforehand so that you can familiarise yourself with the content (flipped classroom approach). We focus on aspects of English/Polish language you struggle with the most.

2. Conversational lessons- during this type of lessons we have discussions about different topics (based on videos and articles I send you before the lesson). At the same time I introduce you to new vocabulary on the go. This sort of a lesson is aimed to improve your speaking and listening skills and make you gain confidence in using English/Polish while speaking.

Katarzyna was my very first English teacher and so encouraging that I got confident enough to travel all around the world on my own although I am from a non-English-speaking country. I appreciate her meticulousness and balanced method to help me out.
