About Jordan

I love being part of a school community and have made a difference everywhere I’ve taught. In Spain they called me “La máquina” or the machine because of my ability to get all those 1st and 2nd graders engaged and learning. Teaching is my greatest strength and I love to watch my students have that “aha” moment where things finally click. The wide breadth of my experience across countries and mediums means I have so many tools of the trade, I know the best websites and games to make learning fun and meaningful.

About the lesson

Nominated for teacher of the year last year in my district. Virginia teaching license and certified to teach ESL. I make learning fun and personalized for your goals. I have students online who have been with me for 7 years and I’ve loved watching them grow up and becoming a good family friend.

Jordan and I worked together and shared a classroom for several years. Her passion for and knowledge of Spanish is not to be understated. She is especially skilled at developing relationships with her students and instilling a love of language learning and empathy for other cultures. We traveled to Costa Rica together with a group of students and their family members, and I think I speak for all of us when I say that she was spectacular the entire trip and handled all the chaos of international travel with grace.
