About Maira

I am Maira, a dedicated O Level and IGCSE Mathematics tutor with seven years of teaching experience across Cambridge and Edexcel boards. I specialize in helping students aged 13 to 18 who struggle with algebra, trigonometry, and exam anxiety. I started teaching because I believe every student can excel in math with the right guidance and past paper practice. Seeing my students improve from D and E grades to A and A_ results motivates me every day. My passion is to make mathematics simple, boost confidence, and turn it into every student’s strongest subject through personalized online lessons.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on O Level and IGCSE Mathematics with a clear, structured approach for Cambridge and Edexcel students. I start by identifying weak topics in algebra, trigonometry, and geometry, then build concepts through step-by-step explanations. Every class includes targeted past paper practice from the last 10 years so students understand exam patterns and marking schemes. I provide personalized worksheets, regular feedback to parents, and flexible online sessions. With seven years of teaching experience, my goal is to help students improve grades from D to A* and make math their strongest subject.

I used to be scared of maths until I found this teacher. Teacher Maira works so hard for every student. The extra examples, the late replies to doubts, the way they break down tough formulas—it all shows. Because of them, maths isn’t a nightmare anymore; it’s actually my favorite subject now. Thank you for making learning feel this easy.

Being your student has really changed the way I see mathematics. You make even the hardest topics feel possible to understand. I appreciate how calm and patient you are with us, especially when we make mistakes. Your support pushes me to keep trying and not give up. Thank you for helping me grow and for always believing in us
