About Maria

I am an experienced language teacher and tutor, originally trained to teach English as a Foreign Language in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I travelled widely and lived in the US, Spain, France and the UK, where I now live permanently.

I have got more than 15 years of experience in teaching languages and working in the education sector, particularly in Higher Education in the UK.

I have taught languages to people from different nationalities and from all walks of life.

Some of the places where I worked as an English tutor:
-Madrid: Telefónica de España, Ministerio de Fomento y Medio Ambiente.
-Toulouse: Airbus; Langue Onze.
-London: Cactus Languages, The Language Machine

I have taught group classes as well as one-to-one. I have worked for language schools, language agencies and teaching in-company classes.

I have worked in administrative roles at St Giles London Central and at Imperial College London, and I am currently self-employed.

My experience of living and working in different countries as well as of working in very prestigious places has provided me with a wealth of experience in the communication needs of different fields: private and public businesses; colleges and universities.

I can help you to prepare for travel, for work, for university and for general interest. I can also prepare you for British English Cambridge exams as well as the American TOEFL.

About the lesson

I teach General English, English for Business and Tourism, exam preparation, conversation, as well as preparation to study or live in UK.

I have travelled widely and taught languages in Argentina, the US, Spain, France and UK.

My lessons are tailored to your needs. I am a versatile tutor, trained as a teacher.

I am currently living in the UK, and I am also a professional mental health counsellor, life coach and tutor in Health and Social Care.
