About Brendan
As a 44-year-old Irish educator with a passion for geography, I bring over 11 years of experience teaching the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) and five years as an examiner. Having lived abroad for nine years in Qatar and five in China, I have embraced diverse cultures and perspectives, which deeply inform my teaching philosophy.
An avid traveler, I thrive on exploration and discovery, believing that every new experience enriches my understanding of the world. I am committed to fostering curiosity and open-mindedness in my students, encouraging them to become reflective thinkers and compassionate global citizens. As the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Coordinator, I guide students in navigating complex questions about knowledge and belief, promoting critical inquiry and ethical considerations.
