About Ariba

Hi, I'm Ariba! I have a BS in Botany and an MPhil in Biological Sciences, specializing in Plant Breeding and Genetics—a field I'm genuinely passionate about, and one that gives me a deep, practical understanding of biology beyond just textbook knowledge.

I've been tutoring school students at home since 2020, mainly focusing on O-Level and A-Level Biology, while also supporting students across other core subjects. Over the years, I've learned that every student has their own way of understanding things, so I never rely on a one-size-fits-all approach — instead, I adapt my teaching style to match how you learn best.

Outside of academics, I have a strong interest in scientific research and plant genetics, which often lets me bring real-world examples into lessons instead of just abstract theory — something students tell me makes topics like genetics and cell biology far easier to grasp.

My goal isn't just to help you pass an exam — it's to help you build a genuine understanding of biology that stays with you. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to helping you feel confident in the subject, one lesson at a time.

About the lesson

Struggling with Biology? You're not alone, and I'm here to make it click.

I'm Ariba, a Biology tutor with a BS in Botany and an MPhil in Biological Sciences, specializing in Plant Breeding and Genetics. Since 2020, I've been tutoring school students at home, helping them build real understanding, not just memorized answers—especially in O-Level and A-Level Biology.

Here's why students choose to learn with me:

Strong academic foundation—my postgraduate specialization means I don't just teach the syllabus, I actually understand the science behind it.

Patient, personalized teaching—every student learns differently, so I adapt my explanations, pace, and examples to what works for you.

Exam-focused, but understanding-first—I make sure concepts genuinely make sense, so you're prepared for exams and can actually apply what you've learned.

Proven experience—years of hands-on tutoring have shown me exactly where students typically struggle and how to fix it.

If Biology has been confusing you, let's change that. Book a trial lesson, and see the difference real understanding makes.
