About Tristan
I am currently a Head of History at a comprehensive school in East Sussex and have a wealth of experience teaching in different learning environments. I was Acting Head of History in my 2nd year of teaching at a school in Leytonstone, and then moved abroad to teach History at a private international school. My responsibilities have afforded me the opportunity to have an in-depth understanding of the National Curriculum but also how to achieve good grades. I have tutored and mentored hundreds of pupils over the past years all with the aim of getting them the grade they deserve. I have 1-1 tailored strategies to help with pupils' individual needs. I am young, personable and get on well with students. I feel this is part of my strengths as a practitioner and I look forward to getting to know my tutees and understanding their process of learning. I also have experience in marking GCSE exam papers and specialise in Edexcel GCSE, the IB and iGCSE.
