About Incia

I am a dedicated and experienced ESOL tutor with a strong background in supporting learners of different ages, levels, and language goals. I specialise in helping students build confidence in English, whether for academic success, professional growth, or everyday communication.
I chose to teach ESOL because I value the impact language has on a person’s opportunities and independence. Being able to communicate confidently in English can open doors in education, careers, and daily life, and I find it incredibly rewarding to support learners on that journey.
My approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and high expectations. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, while also challenging them to progress quickly and consistently. I believe every learner can succeed with the right guidance, structure, and encouragement.
Teaching ESOL is not just about language—it’s about empowering individuals, building confidence, and helping people reach goals that genuinely change their lives. That’s what motivates me in every lesson.

About the lesson

I take a highly personalised, results-focused approach to ESOL tutoring, tailoring every lesson to the learner’s goals, level, and real-life needs. Whether a student is preparing for exams, improving workplace communication, or building everyday confidence, I design lessons that are practical, engaging, and immediately useful.
My teaching combines structured language development (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation) with real-world application through conversation, role-play, and scenario-based learning. I prioritise speaking and listening skills, helping students become confident communicators rather than just passive learners.
I use clear explanations, targeted correction, and consistent feedback to accelerate progress, while maintaining a supportive and motivating environment. Lessons are carefully planned but flexible, allowing me to adapt instantly to areas where the student needs more support.
I also integrate cultural awareness, exam strategies (if required), and independent learning techniques so students can continue improving outside of lessons.
Ultimately, my goal is simple: to help every learner become fluent, confident, and independent in English as quickly and effectively as possible.
