About Jekris
Hi! I’m Jekris, an experienced customer service professional and ESL Teacher with 8 years of experience communicating with people from different backgrounds through phone, email, and chat. I bring that same patience, clear communication, and active listening into my English lessons.
My goal is to create a comfortable space where you can practice English without being afraid of mistakes. I focus on practical conversations, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and real-life situations so you can use English more naturally and confidently.
Whether you’re a beginner, preparing for work or an interview, or simply want to become more comfortable speaking English, I’ll adjust our lessons to your level and goals. I look forward to helping you build your confidence one conversation at a time!

My approach as a tutor is centered on making English practical, comfortable, and useful in real-life situations. I believe students learn better when they are encouraged to speak, make mistakes, and practice without feeling pressured. I use a patient and supportive approach, adjusting my lessons based on each student’s level, goals, and areas that need improvement.
My teaching techniques include guided conversations, pronunciation practice, vocabulary building, grammar correction, reading exercises, and role-playing common situations such as job interviews, workplace conversations, travel, and everyday communication. I also encourage students to explain their thoughts in English instead of simply memorizing answers.
A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up conversation to assess the student’s confidence and speaking ability. We then introduce the main topic or skill for the session, practice it through examples and guided activities, and finish with a conversation or exercise where the student can apply what they learned. I provide constructive corrections and practical tips throughout the lesson.
What sets me apart is my real-world experience communicating with customers, clients, and professionals from different backgrounds. My eight years of customer service experience have taught me how to listen carefully, communicate clearly, explain information in simple terms, and adapt my communication style to different people. I bring these skills into my ESL lessons to help students become more confident and effective English communicators.
My lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate English learners, including students who want to improve conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, workplace communication, interview skills, and overall confidence in speaking English.
