I believe that learning English should be practical, engaging, and tailored to each student's needs. As an Administrative Assistant in the English Language Program at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary and an experienced English tutor, I have worked with students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. This experience has helped me understand that every learner progresses at a different pace.
My lessons begin with a brief assessment to identify each student's strengths, challenges, and learning goals. Based on this, I create personalized lessons that focus on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, or conversational English. I use interactive activities, real-life examples, guided practice, and constructive feedback to help students gain confidence and improve their communication skills.
I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate throughout each lesson. I also provide practical exercises and review previous topics to reinforce learning and measure progress.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners, including children, teenagers, university students, and working professionals who want to improve their English for school, work, travel, or everyday communication. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing the confidence to use English effectively in real-life situations.
