About Alissa

Hello there! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as Teacher Lissa! I'm passionate to assist you with your journey in the realm of English (but don't worry, I can still assist you with Bahasa Melayu!) I take pride in my ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, where each individual's growth is nurtured with care and understanding. Join me in the exciting world of learning, where together, we can unlock the limitless potential within you!

About the lesson

These are my teaching methods: 1) Recognizing students' strengths and areas that can be improved, especially in English. 2) Creating an engaging learning environment through the "gamification" technique. 3) Utilizing the Socratic Method to evoke students' critical thinking. • Lessons take about 1 hour - 1⅕ hours • I am a TESL graduate. • I am an experienced private tutor since 2022, have taught Form 1&2 students in SMK for 4 months, currently working as an English teacher at a kindergarten. • Everyone is welcome to my class! (3 years old ++)

Teacher Lissa has helped me improve my essay writing! She taught me how to write email (extremely vital as not only it will be tested in examinations, but also it helps in daily life too.)

She has some great approaches like gamification as well as the use of online learning tools. She's so nurturing and patient in teaching too! Thank you teacher Lissa
