About Chloe

I am a passionate and dedicated educator with 8 years of teaching experience across both the Foundation Phase and Intermediate Senior Phase. My journey began in the Foundation Phase, where I spent five years helping young learners build solid foundations in literacy and numeracy. For the past three years, I’ve been teaching Grade 7, where I now serve as the Grade Head—overseeing academic progress, pastoral care, and team coordination. I currently teach English, Social Sciences, and Technology to Grade 7 learners. Although my learners are isiZulu home-language speakers, they are taught entirely in English—and they thrive in this environment. I take great pride in helping them access and engage with the curriculum with confidence and success. In addition to my classroom responsibilities, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Foundation Phase Education and a Certificate in Adult Education. This has enabled me to also guide adults in their English learning journeys, further expanding my teaching experience and versatility. My years of experience in both the early and senior phases have given me a well-rounded understanding of how learners grow, learn, and succeed. I believe in creating a supportive, structured, and inspiring environment that equips learners with both knowledge and life skills. I am committed to nurturing every learner’s potential—whether they are taking their first educational steps or preparing for high school and beyond.
