About Louise
My name is Louise. Teaching is my calling and I've been doing it for 31 years!
I have a Higher Diploma in Education which I attained at the University of Johannesburg. I am also a Christian counsellor and my focus is on helping children of all ages with their problems.
I love working with young people and teaching them in a fun and creative way.
Languages (English and Afrikaans) are my specialist subjects, but I have been teaching many other subjects, just not Maths!

I have 31 years experience in teaching both English and Afrikaans HL and FAL, of which English is my passion. I teach from Grade 5 to 12.
Whatever topic I'm teaching, after explaining with relevant examples, I have an oral practice session with my students to ensure that they have grasped the concept.
I use Zoom, Google classroom, Moodle, etc. or one on one.
A written exercise follows which will be scored by me, after which my students receive feedback and where needed, any uncertainties will be addressed.
