About Daniel
I am an English teacher based in Cambridge with 5 years of experience teaching children and adults everything from the basics of phonics to advanced English elements like idioms, expressions, and, finer grammatical rules.
For adults looking to attain naturalised fluency, I have advanced courses relating to honing the specific elements of English that differentiate a native speaker from those with residual language errors. This most commonly relates to business resumé and cover letter writing, but, can be for daily spoken English.
I have worked in public schools in China and Hong Kong, and freelance privately tutored in both Asia and the UK. I have a Bachelors's degree in Biomedical Science & Medicine from the University of Kent, as well as a TEFL/CELTA certification for the teaching of phonics to younger children.

My preferred teaching methodologies are centered on developing strong relationships with the students through personalised instruction techniques that make connections with the students and allow for a strong development of the core capabilities of the student. Identifying the core area's that the student/students are looking to develop, and highlighting subsequent areas of development that would support their learning and accelerate the process of English nativity and learning.
Collaboration and demonstration through games and interactive techniques are extremely important and allow the application of the students learning to a range of different scenarios.
