About Xiyao
I am a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. My journey of getting a Ph.D. degree accompanies with great amount of time diving into all sorts of math. I love working with math problems, and I also love teaching them. It will give me great pleasure if I successfully make a student understand the math that I teach. Feel free to pick me as your personal math tutor and we will have a great journey of mathematics while you becomes better at your school work.

My lesson can go two ways
1. Q&A. Students come to me with any math problems that they find hard to understand, and I show the students the correct solution as well as the methods to repeatedly solve similar problems. Such classes are for students with issues with their homework, exams, etc.
2. Topic coverage. Students come to me with a math topic they find it hard to understand. I go over them following text book and help students connecting the dots. I will based on the students' response to my teaching and give them problems to practice. Such classes are for students generally hard to keep up in their school classes.
3. Seminar. Student can come to me with any advanced topic in math, and I will have a sincere discussion with them. Asking questions can go either ways, and students can interrupt me any time if there are questions. Such classes are for students who are already good in math but want further improvements in math competitions or preparation for college.
