About Sara
I graduated from the University of Illinois in 2019 with University Honors (top 3%). I majored in Elementary Ed and had a Spanish minor. I am currently working on a masters in literacy with a dyslexia specialty and will be pursuing my reading specialist certificate. I have worked in the States as well as abroad in both public and private school settings. I am bilingual in English/Spanish.

I am enthusiastic and dedicated to the best outcome possible. I have five years of classroom and tutoring experience working with many curriculums in both public and private schools. I can provide multisensory instruction for all aspects of beginning literacy including phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, handwriting, grammar, and comprehension. I can tutor all elementary subject areas and provide enrichment/acceleration as well. I will custom design lessons for your child's specific needs, assess regularly to track progress, and adjust my approach as needed. I am a passionate teacher currently working on my masters and teaching 2nd grade.
