About Madlen
I am a qualified EFL teacher living in Cardiff. I have just returned from a year teaching EFL to young children at a school in Spain and have some experience preparing older students for the Cambridge English assessments. My degree is in modern languages so I have a string understanding of the language learning process.

The best way to learn a language is through conversation, activities and games. Using English to solve problems or to talk about a subject of interest is proven to lead to a higher level of fluency than copying out sentences and obsessing over grammar points. My teaching mostly revolves around improving conversational English but I happy to adapt to my students and work on whatever aspect of language they are most interested in improving.
