I have been passionate about education since I myself was a high school student. Having been a classroom teacher in a variety of school settings and across different age groups, I love the opportunity to meet the unique needs and challenges of any student.

I love to get to know the student and their own unique learning style.
I have experience working with students from fifth grade all the way through current undergraduate students, and I enjoy dedicating time and effort to understanding where each student is at in their learning journey.
Oftentimes, writing can feel daunting when one is unsure where to start, which is why a personal relationship is key.
When working with a student who is experiencing challenges in the technical space of writing and grammar, gaining insight into what they have been successful in the past informs what kind of content I use as warm ups.
