About Amelia

With a degree in Drama and Acting and currently completing an MA at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, I offer engaging, student-focused lessons designed to build confidence, creativity, and strong communication skills.

I have taught drama across the UK, working with successful theatre companies and leading Drama and Public Speaking courses at the Midlands Arts Centre. I also have extensive experience preparing students for LAMDA exams, with a strong understanding of the syllabus across all levels.

Alongside this, I specialise in university and interview preparation. I have supported students in securing interviews and places at top institutions, including Imperial College London and leading drama schools. My experience working on university interview panels and as a member of staff gives me a clear understanding of what assessors are looking for, allowing me to guide students in presenting themselves with confidence and authenticity.

I also provide one-to-one coaching at BIMM University, focusing on managing performance anxiety and helping students deliver their best work under pressure.

Whether you're preparing for exams, auditions, interviews, or looking to build confidence in public speaking, I offer tailored, supportive coaching to help you achieve your goals.

About the lesson

My classes focus on creating a supportive space where students can feel confident, grow, and learn. We work together to set clear personal goals for each session, making sure the lessons are tailored specifically to you! In public speaking, whether preparing for a big work presentation or learning to manage anxiety, we cover essential skills such as voice projection, body language, eye contact, and breathing exercises to help you perform at your best. In drama teaching, I work with students preparing for LAMDA exams, audition preparation, and developing acting techniques. I introduce practical methods from experienced practitioners, including Meisner and Stanislavski’s helping students build authentic and powerful performances.

Perfect! Amelia coached my A-level son in public speaking techniques in preparation for his university admission interviews over a 6 month period. My son progressed from a softly spoken mumbler to one who enunciates in a louder tone.
