About Narita

I have years of experience as a Computer and Vocational Trainer, delivering one-to-one, personalized training both in person and online via Teams/Zoom/Meet.
I have taught Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and Google Workspace such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Meet, Vids and more. Also, Windows navigation, internet, website development, email skills, keyboarding and a wide range of everyday digital skills.
My background also includes helping learners achieve NZQA unit standards through training programs and assessments.
I also tutor learners who are changing careers in vocational studies, including Project Management, Stock & Inventory, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting and Administration.
I was born and raised in New Zealand and still live in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

About the lesson

I believe the best learning happens when lessons are tailored to each individual. Everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student's personality, previous experience, confidence and their goals.
I've been told that I'm patient and approachable. I enjoy helping people build their skills at a pace that feels comfortable, while keeping focused and on track.
My teaching combines demonstrations, practical exercises, written notes, examples, and hands-on activities. I like to relate new skills to real-life situations so that learning is relevant, meaningful, and immediately useful.
Lessons start at 45 minutes per online session over Teams/Zoom/Meet or in person.
Lessons can be adjusted to suit your needs.
I offer one-off sessions for specific topics as well as ongoing tutoring for those wanting to build their skills over time.
My lessons are ideal for adults and teenagers who are beginners or have intermediate computer skills.
Whether you're returning to work, applying for roles, starting a new job, studying, running a small business, or want to feel more confident using computers and devices, I will tailor each lesson to help you achieve your personal goals.
